Tejas Networks has reached a significant milestone by entering into a contract with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the supply and annual maintenance services of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment for Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL)’s Pan-India 4G / 5G network expansion.
Under this agreement, Tejas Networks has secured a Purchase Order valued at Rs 7,492 crore (approx. $900 million) from TCS. This order entails the supply of Tejas Networks’ 4G / 5G RAN equipment for around 100,000 sites, with the deployment scheduled to take place during the years 2023 and 2024.
