Swisscom employee salaryEffective from April 1, 2024, approximately 10,000 Swisscom employees covered by the collective employment agreement will benefit from the salary adjustment. The increase in salary to Swisscom employees aims to offset inflation, with most employees set to receive a general salary boost, tailored according to their position within the salary band.

Additionally, a portion of the funds will be allocated for individual salary adjustments, while employees earning above the salary band will receive a one-time payment, says Swisscom in a news statement.

Klementina Pejic, Head of Group Human Resources at Swisscom, expressed gratitude towards the company’s workforce for their dedication throughout 2023, which led to commendable results. Pejic emphasized the importance of addressing inflation, particularly for employees with lower salaries, underlining Swisscom’s commitment to providing competitive compensation packages alongside attractive benefits.

Daniel Hugli, Head of Sector ICT at the trade union syndicom, lauded the negotiated salary increase for its role in mitigating employees’ loss of purchasing power.

Daniel Hugli highlighted the collaborative efforts between syndicom and Swisscom, enabled by the collective employment agreement, which allows for annual salary negotiations, ensuring employees’ participation in the company’s success.

Marika Schaeren, Head of ICT at transfair, emphasized the significance of the salary adjustment in counteracting inflationary pressures. Marika Schaeren noted that while the outcome may not fully reflect Swisscom’s robust performance in 2023, the agreement represents a reasonable compromise considering market conditions and serves to maintain employees’ purchasing power.
