NSN names Salvatore Maisano as head of Central East and West Africa

Telecom network vendor Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) has named Salvatore Maisano (known as Sal) as head of Central East and West Africa (CEWA).

Sal is responsible for sales and operations of NSN across the CEWA region in Middle East and Africa (MEA). Previously, he was head of Sales for MEA at NSN, the company said today.

Sal has held a number of senior management positions in the ICT industry, including head of China and Far East at OTE/Marconi (now Selex).

Sal joined Nokia in February 1999 from OTE/Marconi, where he was heading China and the Far East region, based out of Beijing.
