Broadband World Forum today shared broadband growth in 2013 based on technology.
FTTH-based broadband connections rose 12.8 percent in Q4 2013 as compared with Q3 2013.
FTTx-based broadband access grew 4.8 percent in Q4, wireless 2.2 percent, satellite 1.6 percent and cable 1.6 percent.
However, copper-based broadband connections decreased 1.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013, said Broadband World Forum.
